I'm a Burmese-Australian visual artist and designer based in Naarm/Melbourne and originally from Boonwurrung Country/The Mornington Peninsula.
My practice spans large-scale drawing, painting, and digital design. Working across paper, canvas, and found objects, my work is defined by bold colour, expressive mark-making, and an intuitive, process-driven approach.
With over a decade of experience, I have developed a distinctive visual language that embraces playfulness, emotional honesty, and non-conventional aesthetics.
My practice explores themes of identity, mental health, and cultural hybridity, informed by my lived experience as a queer Burmese-Australian woman.
Through both studio production and socially engaged work, my work seeks to challenge stigma and create space for marginalised voices.
Alongside my studio practice, I facilitate workshops for young people and adults, focusing on accessibility, creative confidence, and community connection.
I am particularly interested in residencies as sites for experimentation, cross-cultural exchange, and the development of new work that responds to place, community, and lived experience.
